Transfer: Cristiano Ronaldo Reportedly Prevented Victor Boniface’s Move to Al Nassr

 It has come to light that Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo played a key role in blocking Victor Boniface’s transfer to the Saudi Pro League.

This information was shared by Nigerian broadcast journalist Onyebuchi Onokala, popularly known as Buchi Laba.

According to Buchi Laba, no player can be signed by the club without Ronaldo’s approval.

Al Nassr had been linked with both Boniface and Jhon Duran but ultimately signed the Colombian forward.

Buchi Laba explained on X: “Here’s a little insight about Jhon Duran and why I’m surprised he’s unhappy at Al Nassr.

“Al Nassr negotiated for both him and Victor Boniface, then presented both options to Cristiano Ronaldo to choose one. Ronaldo picked Duran.

“At Al Nassr, no signing happens without Ronaldo’s approval — even the head coach’s appointment. He has the final say, so why is Duran dissatisfied after less than a year?”
