‘Nigeria too toxic’ – Comedian Shank says after relocating abroad

 Adesokan Emmanuel, the Nigerian content creator better known as Shank Comics, who’s now based in the US, recently took to social media to vent his frustration about Nigeria, calling the country “too toxic” and “sickening.”

Posting on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, he wrote: “Nigeria is too too Toxic man. Sickening.”

His tweet sparked a wave of mixed reactions. Some users criticized him for speaking negatively about Nigeria so soon after moving abroad. One person commented, “You never even reach 6 months for that side u don dey enter us.”

Shank, however, stood by his opinion, replying, “No jor. I’m serious.”
